Jamie Pugh singing “Bring Him Home” from “Les Miserables” on Episode 4 of Britain’s Got Talent 2009.
What a stunning performance.
Jamie Pugh is a truck delivery person by day and pizza delivery man by night, his story is truly inspirational.

What a beautiful, moving version of ‘Bring Him Home’. I was in tears listening to Jamie Pugh sing with all his heart, and his modesty and utter lack of pretension were extremely endearing. Like Susan Boyle, as soon as he started to sing there was an instant reaction from the judges and the audience, and like Susan, his sincerity gave the song enormous poignancy. It’s funny that, with all the technically processed music from today’s so-called stars, a simple talent like theirs shines out, like diamonds among tinsel. Susan, Jamie and Adam Lambert from ‘American Idol’ have one thing in common; they gave me goose bumps when they started to sing, and that’s a litmus test that has never faileed me - it means I’m listening to something way beyond just a natural ability, where you would be happy to sit for hours and just listen to them. God bless, the best of luck and thank you for sharing your gift with us.
Well done JP. Be proud you are just a boy from the valleys. You are a true son of Wales - the land of song and talented singers.
WELL done Jamie, you knocked their socks off mate. Will be following your next success.

Your performance stunned me when I watched on TV.
Since then, I have watched you several times more on Youtube. Each time you sound better. The feeling and emotion you put into your performance is unforgettable. Very difficult to put into words. Well done is just not enough.
Jamie Pugh - what a natural talent. The emotion struck my heartstrings from the first note. Now Jamie have confidence - listen to Simon! You ARE A STAR but only you can make it happen.
What is there left to be said, the male version of susan boyle and now do we have a competion, what a shame two super stars in the same competion of which neither should loose.
l am gobsmacked at the control that jamie had over his voice, absolutely fantastic performance.
Well done jamie.
Wow! Watched you on tv and then have watched you over and over on you tube. You are pureley brilliant.
Good Luck. Hope you win!
you made me cry. so beautiful, your the winner good luck jamie
i think there should be 2 winners this year i’m sure the queen would appreciate to hear both susan and jamie what a performance from jamie tho was in tears the passion that he gave the song was immense for someone who has never performed in ffront of an audience unbelieveable……good luck (i think your days as a van driver and pizza delivery are over west end i thinks for you) i would certainly pay to see you in the west end
Stunning …
Amazing …
Thank you !
Jamie, mate. I too am an ex RAF Engineer, but I haven’t had anywhere near such hard times as yourself. Your song had me speechless, which is quite an achievement believe me. I really wish you all the very best and I know you are going to have a number one album with that voice, and I’ll be in the queue for it.

Jamie,
Methinks Ms Boyle has met her match - stunning!
I have heard two voices that must sing to the Queen, it would be a travesty if either Jamie or Susan were left out. No rule should be so inflexable, we all need to hear such beautoful voices to lift us up in thede hard times. Come on give them both the chance to sing.
you were phonomenal and mesmerizing, you deserve to win good luck jamie

You are absolutely great, keep on singing so we can hear your voice again.

Jamie
You are fantastic, you should have taken part many years before
Well done Good luck in the finals
Superb performance.
Please, please, leave the man alone to deliver his pizzas if need be and don’t turn him into a circus freak show like Susan Boyle.
Amazing. You have a wonderful voice, but if you want to keep it like that please, please give up smoking. Sophie from Newport x
Well, I wish that I could sing like that, but for now, I congratulate you! I wish that there could be two winners of the show, but we all know that won’t work; I pray that you make it big….in fact that’s a certainty!

There’s something about your voice that’s like magic. It’s not just a great singing voice. It’s extraordinary because you project your soul through it. Just pick songs that you feel that way about and you’ll never go wrong. I can’t wait to hear more!
- You brought “him” home!!!
You brought yourself home
to where you belong
…among the winners over yourself,
and as a contributor to us all out here, our souls and our lives!
- Thanks, Jamie !

Despite the world famous ugly British tabloids lies and fabricated “news”, now about you, do NOT take notice, will you. We don’t!
Are there really any contestant in BGT that hasn’t performed in front of an audience before?
And.. how did you know that you’ve got stage fright if you haven’t tested being on a stage before?
BGT, with it’s noisy audience and tough jury is for sure something quite different from performing in front of a small silent group of people. And, ok, your performance 2006 at that talent show sucked, so… you’ve come a long way, Jamie.
Continue in that path forward, we all want that!

There’s a big difference between singing on stage with others in a choir and standing there all alone with your single voice in front of three judges and an emotional audiance, ready to give a feed-back after every single note! There is a difference between stage-fright, when you know that there are other singers with you, and the stage-fright you have, when everything stands and falls with your voice, which is the instrument of the body to show your inner feelings! Everybody should try himself to sing in these two situations and he’ll find out that they are world’s apart. I’ve sung solo and in many choirs, so I understand that “has never sung before an audiance like this” is definitely NO lie. It’s more the moment everyone with stage-fright panics and this anxiety let you forget every single experience you’ve made before on a stage.
It’s not fair of the Yellow Press to condamn so easily and obviously wrong for having a sensation. But this is Yellow Press. And Jamie, your voice is so touching I’m not able to find words even in my own language! It’s too easy to say but be yourself and continue to use your voice like a shield and a sword against your fear. We’ll support you and think of you!
Sveene (Germany)
Interesting that he was singing as a group for the night’s performace and here there’s this 3 minute clip that he was singing solo with others backing up and it’s this clip the newspaper’s chose to show us.
sveene “in a choir ” LOL is that what they call solo now? He sang all of it alone except the last few seconds where he is joined by the 6 other guys. He did a lot more SOLO on that song than he did his song for BGT and it was a horrible solo in 2006
I am amazed that so many of you seem to uphold lies and con jobs. Is that your way of life there? This guy is the biggest phony I ever seen but he is one hell of an actor. So there is his talent. Put him on the big screen.
Go Jamie! We think you’re great!
Absolutely wonderful performance mate. It’s been a really long time since I was brought to tears the way I did when I watched you on you-tube, wish I had been there to see you live. Job well done lad! The really weird thing is Mexicans don’t really notice anything happening outside their borders, yet everyone seems to have heard (or know of) Jamie Pugh.
a true insperation, the new tom jones ……….if i am to bold to say…….jamie it was outstanding man you should be so proud of yourself first class and a moving rendition of a marvelouse clasic
