Itv bosses were forced to take down pictures from their own website after they revealed who got through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
The photos were taken in the dressing room at rehearsals for next week’s semi-final stages and were seen by some fans.
A show insider said: “Someone put these pictures up without thinking, and the semi-finalists have not been announced so it caused chaos.”
Meanwhile, Scottish sensation Susan Boyle has inspired cartoon slacker Homer Simpson to audition for a talent show in a new episode of The Simpsons.
He tells Simon Cowell: “My dream is to be a great singer like Susan Boyle.”

I am a Welshman living in London, when I saw Jamie sing on his audition I was struck by the raw passion in his voice. Talent isn’t just about being able to sing in tune but to be able to sell a song convincingly. One of the most emotional performances I have ever watched in my life. If you can watch that without a serious lump in your throat then you should probably check for a pulse.
I have lost count of how many times I have watched that performance and it always affects me.
Long may you continue to sing Jamie, you have convinced me of your talent.
