I thought Jamie was so good tonight! All nerves aside you can’t teach or fake a beautiful tone to a voice. Nerves are healthy and I think he needs another chance to shine!
Good luck with everything Jamie!!
xxxx
I think you are a raw talent and deserved to be in the final. Hopefully this opens many doors for you. You are a true talent.
Yo, Haime -
Next time play wit the Mararaichi band - it will blow their socks offa they feets. What is
wit that Amanda dame wit all the fake hair & boobies?
She buzz you bad when you in middle of the song - what’s wit her? Somebody say in
the paper Amanda said your voice like starting a car engine? I don think so - she’s mean
and maybe lonely & is taking it out on you amigo.
HB
Me and my mum both think you are amazing. You sooo should of gotten through to the final. The judges knew fine that you have stage fright and yet Amanda buzz’s half way through your phenomenal singing! Even if she did feel “uncomfortable” thats obviously going to throw anyone off. I’m a singer I would be absolutely terrified to do what you did, so brave. I hope this isn’t the end for you. I know you can make it with a voice like that
so many people are on your side - don’t give up! xx
Jamie, I am sure that you know there is a tremendous amount of support for you to contuine with your singing. We are expecting to be buying your cd’s as soon as possible. I dont know if you are going on the BGT tour but whatever you do, we are following your singing and wish you all the best. Thank you again for sharing your life with all of us… Lindajean in USA
Looved your performance and i applaud you for being so brave =) DOnt give up Jamie! we’re on your side =)
Well done Jamie =)
Brilliant performance! We’re on your side! You speak for all of us Jamie… hang in there!
I loved Jamie’s performance and voice. I really hoped he would win.
I would love to own a CD of his someday.
Well done, Jamie! I thought you got even stronger after Amanda rudely buzzed. You finished strong. I hope that we can hear more from you.
Good luck with all you do.
Yes! don’t give up. the more you face big crowds singing, the more you will overcome your stagefright! It’s a wonderful start. Did you see how many people are rooting for you?
Hi Jamie:
I make a living as a musician in Las Vegas. My name isn’t up in lights, and I make a living that’s just adequate. But I’m happy because I’m doing what I love to do and I’m good at it. You are at least as talented as I am and you can have a wonderful, happy life making a living as a singer. Keep plugging away. Even Barbra Streisand never really conquered stage fright. You have a wonderful voice and you’ve inspired millions. Don’t stop now!!!
Jamie, I feel they really held you to a high standard here. Your first performance built expectations because you delivered it with such raw, heartfelt emotion. You’re a good singer, but a better actor. Amanda was right but she wasn’t able to explain it.. you touched her heart before, but this time you picked a singer’s song rather than an actor’s song, and what I mean by that is you did not invest your heart and soul in “Impossible Dream” the way you did with “Bring Him Home,” perhaps because it is not as easy to immerse yourself in that character. I really hope you will consider acting and perhaps take lessons.. you do have an enormous gift for that.
Dear Jamie,
I thought you were good, but compared to last performance I think it was a let down. Hard thing to keep on a roll. As a professional counselor, I think you can overcome your nerves. I disagree with Simon in his statement if you can’t get over the nerves here, you never will. I think that given time, you will be a great performer. Because nerves will get better over time. They have to. Your nervous system will calm down. The more you do something the easier it will get. Jeez, you’ve have two auditions over 6 weeks time. You are doing fantastic in my book. You were 100 percent calmer and confident in the second audition. So the bar was raised. I would keep on singing and singing. I still watch your first audition over and over again, because like Chuck said, you seem to be so in that part.
Take care,
Erik Bohlin
Jamie SO SO SO proud of you . I too suffer with nerves and to do what you have done is brave . Please do not vanish we need you to push through you are so talented .
I was so taken by the first performance, which was so genuine and so inspired. Loved it, and could not get it out of my head. It was wonderful. I would be driving around and imagining what song you would sing, and this was on my list, although I think it is kind of a dumb song. It really was not as good as Bring Him Home…nothing like that performance.
Bring Him Home was amazing. Don’t let anything take one little speck away from those miraculous 3 minutes. So incredible.
I was a performer who also suffered from nerves. I became a lot happier when I stopped performing…not that I was that bad, but I just did not enjoy the stress. It just is not for everyone, no matter what level of talent you have.
I wish you all the best Mr. Pugh. You have more class than Amanda will ever have. Why she felt she had to say what she said about you to the press before this second round is beyond me. Buzzing you like that was just plain stupid on her part, and I’ve lost quite a lot of respect for her judgment tonight.
Perhaps it’s time for her to move on.
Anyway Mr. Pugh, I hope you meant what you said about not wanting to stop. Get what ever help you need. You have a beautiful voice and I still would like to own a Jamie Pugh CD.
I was pleased to read the informed comments on this site in support of Jamie Pugh. He went onto stage last night having read the crushing comments made about him by the judge Amanda Holden and his confidence was in tatters. She buzzed him half way through but perhaps she realised that he isn’t her ‘ticket’ to her new life in the States that Sue Boyle his. Susan can be more easily manipulated but Jamie lost his dream because of her comments and she gained hers because a new life in the States beckons. I wasn’t proud of being British last night
Dont give up Jamie. You have such a beautiful voice. Incredibly moving and true. I would love to have your CD. Best of luck.
Dear Jamie,
In the end of the day , it doesn’t matter whether you make it to the finals or not because only ONE act is going to win regardless. So you’re in the same ship as all the other acts.
I’d like to highlight that the fact the judges realized you were nervous put an end to the whole ‘he was faking his nervousness’ thing. You truly were nervous, we could all see it which proves that you never lied on your first audition !
I watched your audition many manu times. It was by far my favourite act on BGT. I will still continue to support you and would love to see you on a west end show someday. Please don’t stop singing. A talent show is just a TV show in the end of the day (Whatever happened to Steve Brookstein) and look how famous the late Jade Goody became even though she didn’t win Big brother.
You’ve done Great!!! Hold your head up high and be proud of yourself. And please don’t stop singing, you already have so may fans who would love to hear you sing again.
Lots of Love and support,
Isabella
You didn’t win the show but you certainly won my heart <3
Jamie,
You are unique, talented and special. You have a ‘divine gift’ - your voice. Therefore continue to share your gift with humanity, we all need as much upliftment as possible during these challenging times. Your nerves will disappear without trace if you will accept that you have been given this gift to share …………… I for one have received your gift, and I thank you from my heart.
I continue to listen to your audition piece from Les Mis, you were exeptional ……………. none of the ’stars’ performing on stage (checked them on You Tube) could get close to the quality of your performance. You touched my heart with your voice ………… please keep singing.
Hi Jamie
I thought you were phenomenal in both auditions for someone who’s never sung professionally. your are an gifted man with an incredible voice. please don’t give up
Keep singing. You have great talent and people will want to hear you. Most importantly, do this for yourself and for your girlfriend that has been supporting you.
Best Wishes.
Jamie, you have a great voice and should carry on singing. You MUST overcome your nerves - stand up tall, lift your diaphragm (you can’t do justice to your voice if your shoulders meet under your chin!!!) and be proud of your voice. Go and see Paul McKenna and get some hypnotherapy to sort out the nerves. You CAN be a success if you really want it - the audiences have given you standing ovations twice now - surely that gives you confidence???
Very best wishes and I look forward to seeing your CD in the shops by Christmas. Get off your backside and just DO IT.
Anne
Hi Jamie
Well done!!! to go on stage after being torn apart in the press by Amanda Holden takes some doing, especially when it was so clear how nervous you were. I too preferred your choice of song for the first audition, but I thought you did a fantastic performance last night too. please don’t give up here, I really do hope you go on. I too suffer with nerves, I’m not a performer, but I have to do loads of presentations with my work, sometimes to large groups - and I can only say the more you do it, the more used to it you become and the nerves do get better. I really hope that someone was watching you who is now willing to give you your break. Take care, and the best of luck for your future, Pam
Dear Jamie,
We don’t get to watch BGT here in Canada as a series, but my family and I have been folliwing it online quite religiously since the beginning. We were all completely gutted when we found you didn’t make it through to the finals– we were really *rooting* for you!
And you want to know what? We still are.
You were my own personal favourite audition of the season. The first time I watched you sing ‘Bring Him Home’, I was brought to tears (oh, who am I kidding– and every subsequent too-many-to-count times after that, too.) It occurred to me though, that first time, that I’ve never heard anyone, *ever*, sing with such genuine and heartfelt emotion; and never seen anyone who ‘feels’ a song as much as you do… while your voice is wonderful in and of itself, for me the emotion that you put into your singing– such a rare talent– was the thing that was an utter privilege to witness.
So please, do not give up on your dream– because one of *my* dreams is to have the opportunity to buy a cd of yours (complete with a fabulous duet by you and Susan Boyle!)
Keep at it, Jamie!
J., from Canada
Dear Jamie
I write as a singing teacher, who was moved to tears by your first performance and truly hoped you would go through again. My students suffer from nerves too, but they can be overcome, and it would be a sin to stop now. You can see from how many people have written to you, that the public really cares and wants you to go on. I am sure you will contacted by someone who will have all the right contacts to help promote your voice. One door closes, and I am sure another one will open, you have proved that you have the courage to sing and be open to perhaps unkind comments, so be brave and go forwards. And if you make a cd, I will certainly buy one ! God bless you and your voice, which touched the hearts of the British public.

JAMIE,
I just read all the comments from all your fans. And I can see how much you are loved by your Friends.
I hope Simon reads these e-mails and can see how much you are loved for your Singing.
as for Amanda shame on her….w hen you sang the first time . her mouth was opened and sat in disbelief, and than acted like the way she did on the finals. and Lord knows what the papers said. I watch you on my computer…..
Like one e-mail said stand tall and let her Rip you can do it… God Bless you and your family I have watched the audition for 100 times. and am moved each time.
Jamie… don’t give up… am sure you will succeed…. know that we have far more respect for your talent than the demi-gods of judges… they have lost a viewer in me…. the judges are just too wrapped up in themselves and the susan boyle show…. they have spoiled her for me… they have changed who she really is..at this point… she didn’t exactly Nail her performance.. there were several week moments… don’t who you are.. other than having more self confidence and more respect for yourself… the audience was the true judge of you and your performance… God’s Peace and Success to You… addendum: when they changed Paul Potts they made him look 20 yrs. older… to me, being a normal person, with great talent…is part of the charm of the entertainer… will be checking back with this site… and want to see good, positive things about you and your success.. i not really a fanclub type guy…. but, wanted to let you know that you have a lot of american support…. can’t put too much stock in those judges, and their opinions…they are trying to be too hollywood….
Can’t believe you didn’t make the final! Gutted! I seriously hope that you continue to strive to reach your dream of being a singer. Already looking forward to buying your CD.
Loved your performances! Hopefully, that says it all

Dear Jamie:
I think you’re incredible!!! Don’t lose the vibratto…..your voice literally throbs with emotion!
When I hear beautiful music, I shiver.
You make me shiver!
Don’t give up on your dream….you are stronger than that!
There is little I could add to what many have already said. You have a God given gift…a glorious voice and the ability to draw us with you into what you are singing.
If this is your dream, please continue. There are many who would consider not being able to share what you have to give a real loss. I, too, look forward to the day when I will be able…all the way over here in the USA…to say, “I need a copy of the new Jamie CD”.
God bless you and your family
Jamie,I`m from Bulgaria but I watch the show in net.I think you are great, you have amazing talent. When I listen your voise it make`s me dream…it`s beautiful.
Keep singing - it`s blessing!
Jamie, BGT is like AI. The judges have decided who they want to win and they are the ones the judges praise. The contestants that the judges praise are not always the best. You have a beautiful voice. You are every bit as good as Susan Boyle. Keep going! If you have a CD here in the USA I will be one of the first to buy. I have children older tha you and grandchildren almost as old as you, and believe me when I say You Can Do It.
Dean
Hello Jamie,
Magic moments, that’s what you give me with your voice, but also with your attitude and the emotion that you can bring when you sing. You have a very big talent, please continue to sing.
It was so beautiful that i’m learning “bring him home” to sing this song with my guitar in a little concert that I will have on the end of november. When I can give juste a part of the emotion that you gave, then i’ll be happy.
I hope you the best for your life and that you can realise your dreams.
Karin
Jamie, I was filled with emotion when you sang on Britians Got Talent. When will you have a CD coming out? Please, please, don’t stop singing. You are a GREAT SINGER! Yes, I would pay good money to see you in concert. Jamie, I live in the US, the state of Georgia, but I would travel to the UK to see you perform. Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
