WELCOME TO THE #1 JAMIE PUGH FANSITE
Shock Factor - Jamie Goes Out

Last night we saw Jamie Pugh go out of the competition, Britain’s Got Talent, much to the surprise of the public. Pugh had 8/1 odds of winning and was one of the favorites to win after his Les Mes performance of Bring Him Home in his first audition.

Last night Shaun Smith and Flawless were the acts to get through, congrats to both acts but bad luck for Jamie.

We will continue to bring you the latest news regarding Jamie :) so please still check back regularly and show your support.

  1. Jamie I went back to your video tonight and listened and watched it again.

I feel so bad for Amanda because she is jadded and got it so WRONG.

Jamie you have to realize that Amanda is falible like the POPE :0)………

She just couldn’t read the anxiety and the artistic sensitivety because it’s rarly seen.

    Jamie,

My bestest advice is fo yo to hook up with a Mexican Mararachi band, learn how to play a lil
trumpet & harmonica. Bring in yo voice from time to time, and you then will have the best
creative act in London, and you will definitely be in next year’s finals.

Yo cud be the next Al Hirt & Tijuana Taxi band! No way wud
Amanda samba buzz yo again. Good luk amigo.

  3. Jaimie, I keep watching all your videos. They seem to get better the more I listen to them.

I loved your smile when you were on the Morning Show. You have a beautiful smile. I’d like to see more of it. It warms my heart.

As for Amanda, she’s just wrong! If I just want to sit back and be entertained, I’d listen to something like “All that Jazz”.

Your songs make me feel the emotion of them. That’s what great singers do.

You know, I honestly think Jamie’s performance was fine. Really good, Maybe its not the fact that his nerves get in his way. I mean of course he gets nervous, who doesn’t.. It could have been the song choice. I would love to see and hear a full version of him singing “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables. You know what Jamie, I think you sung fine, I think your performance was better than last, you were more out there than you were in the Auditions. You showed much more of your voice. I’m sure, if you don’t win this, you will still be successful. I think you can make some great versions of songs. And make some great songs as well. And I would TOTALLY buy your albums. But above all, I think it was the song choice that got Amanda all bothered, and I think Simon didn’t spit out the right words as well. You have a great voice, and yes you are nervous, but I notice when you start singing, those nerves start to trail off and go away. The main thing is everyone has their own style. And I don’t think that song was YOUR style. Good song no doubt.

I BET IF YOU DID BRING HIM HOME AGAIN, YOU WOULD TOTALLY WIN. CAUSE EVERYONE LOVED THAT SONG, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SANG IT, I’VE NEVER HEARD OF THEM UNTIL I SAW YOUR AUDITION.

And now I love the song, so Keep it strong all the way bud, and find your style. Best of Luck to you brother.

  5. Jamie… for me.. the Real Talent of this year’s series of bgt has been buzzed off..and very rudely might i add.. you were the star..don’t give up…. you have a lot of world support…and my support… disregard simon’s comments..they could not have been more negative and farther from the truth.. he isn’t mr. showbiz…just one person..and one opinion in the world as are we…. don’t stop… i waiting for more music from you… good.. will come from all of this..good things happen to good people and i feel that you are a good person… you were and are terrific…don’t stop now… you have come too far….and will go farther…you love singing…we love hearing you.. you are very inspiring and have touched more people than you realize… . cjp

  6. why can’t you British people vote for Jamie in conjunction w/ the final votes as a protest for his ill treatment…. and let the producers, the television station and the judges realize the mistake they have made and just how much support Jamie has…and indicate to the news media just how much Jamie has touched you with his great talent…

  7. Jamie has an outstanding voice. He needs to sing melodies designed for barotones. It was the deepness of his voice which touched the ears and hearts of the audience during his BGT audition.

Go lower, Jamie, go lower……Using the right key means the difference between getting in or being locked out.

Wishing you all the best, I am
    Nan

  8. Ashame that he’s not in the competition anymore..
one of the best singers I’ve ever heard

    Greetz from Holland

  9. I forgot to mention the warble in each note as he’s singing. He needs to make those notes “shake” in his voicebox. Susan Boyle does it and so should Jamie. Listen again to “Bring Him Home” and you will hear what I mean.

    Nan

  10. I agree with nan. Baritone on the vocals. Nerves smerves…didn’t effect your first audition which was heartwarming. Don’t worry about nerves, stay focused on the song and the story in the song. I love love love the warm healing calming sound of your voice which tells a story. You are a true actor jamie. Acting and singing for you jamie and always do what you love, sing what you love. I want to buy your cd. Ps never give free advertising to the naysayers. Be gracious and ignore them. I want to hear more from you. Best of luck to you and your gf.

  11. Muscular Mind

It’s obvious that the judges were ‘aware’ of his ‘lie’, and that his love for him has turned into ‘hate’, incredible hate! look at the way simon and amanda looked through his performance! well, i don’t think its only his voice (coz he obviously made more than two mistakes and was ‘off’ a few times), but also coz their sympathy for him turned into animosity… and frankly i think he deserves it, coz he LIED.

  12. think that he told a fib,,, because of his nerves…..he could have taken thirty minutes to explain that he had done a two week.. group…non-paid project in the west end…but, …. you haven’t lied yourself muscle brain…? give the guy credit… he sings great..he’s a good person and doesn’t have it all figure out quite yet….like you. think that you are right about the judges had their minds made up before hand… he did make a few bobles…so did susan… he was nervous for goodness sake…. he is very talented and we all know it… wishing him the best…

  13. sandra Frühwirth

    dear jamie.!! =)

you are so fantastic.! i love your music. i can not good english.. i am from austria. i hope you can understand me.. i hope you can understand what i read.. =)

i hope for you… do the best at your life.. =)

i must cry when i see your video (britian got talent)… its so fantastic… =)

    in love sandra (sandy) =)

  14. Hi Jamie,

Hope you’re reading all these fab comments. Don’t think you ‘lied’ at all and thought you were treated really harshly both by the press and by the judges in the semi-final. I think your voice is amazing and it was the only performance of the whole show that moved me to tears and yours is the only voice I would pay to listen to…..so hurry up and make your 1st album!!!

    Claire x

  15. Jamie
You must bring out a CD, After hearing you myself , my wife & even my kids think you deserved to win, WHEN you release your fist CD I will be the first to buy it.
Regards & best wishes for your future
    Andy

  16. it is very heartwarming to see all of your support, Jamie…. i have had a thought that you were eliminated, because you posed such a real treat to Susan.. who was suppose to have won… guess that her anger w/ the police got her into trouble… anyway…. you would have gotten my vote and many others… wonder how many write-in votes you really got….. you were the best … The Queen did see you… Best to you and your family…… guess that muscular mind is out finding a cure for cancer or something… respect and regards to you cp

  17. Hello, i’m a fan of Jamie Pugh, i saw all the episodes of BGT by internet because i’m not english or even live in england, and i think that it was an injustice he had lost, and i think that Amanda was an hypocrit because she said that the only reason that she bused him was because he was really nervous and she can’t stand it because she get anxious too, but when the litle girl stoped singing and began to cry it was trilions of times more stressing, i was really nervous when the girl sang the second time because i was waiting for her to start the crying all over again, and if she had a second chance why didn’t he???????????
I think he is amazing, a great great singer, i really don’t care about pink journals so i think that he has what it’s need to be a world known singer. And i would love to see him performing with Susan Boyle!! I hope that someone could see the great value he has and give him the chance to record a CD.

The best luck for Jamie Pugh, kind regards from Portugal ;)

  18. you are right Catia… it was an injustice… watched the bgt videos again as i have done countless times… Jamie did not fall apart as stated by simon…. he didn’t act noticeably nervous…even was more relaxed after amanda’s buzz….i think that he was too much competition for susan and the dance troup…which did do a really nice job… but… don’t know if that will sell very many cd’s
do people buy video’s of dance groups other than swan lake etc….? Jamie wasn’t judged fairly…
but, has a great future… someone has probably already contacted him… if he has been released from his btg contractural agreement… JAMIE keep going and Don’t Give Up… get to a producer…like listening to you very much… but, really like your facial expresssions and feelings when you sing…. thought, as do many… think that you were terrific… goodness over 2 million hits just on one video itself…. People Like You… Respect You… and Love Your Music… You sounded great on the semi-final… You should be proud of yourself.. You’ll make it.. Simon’s comment was about as rediculous as was Amanda’s… I have alot more respect for You than i do them.

  19. Dear Jamie:

You are magnificent. Every time I watch your audition tape, I get shivers at the quality of your voice and your beautiful rendition of the song. I am also deeply touched by your gentle and humble manner. I know in the semi-final that Simon, (who I normally agree with), said something to the effect of you just accepting that singing in public just isn’t for you and to give up. PLEASE DON’T. You are such a great talent and I would buy a CD of yours in a heartbeat. Jamie, do not give up on your dream now. You had the courage to get this far. Get the help you need to control your nerves, (hypnotherapy might be beneficial to you), and a wee bit of voice training, just a bit, because your voice is very close to being spot on, and remember, you have tons of fans who adore you and would like to hear more from you. Chase the dream, Jamie, chase the dream. You can do it! I BELIEVE in you and your talent, as do many, many others.

    Blessings from Canada!!!

    Dita.

  20. Jamie - the talent show is irrelevant really - you do have a magnificent voice and what simom cowell said at your initial audition stands true. believe in yourself and the fact that you do have an enormous gift. Find another avenue for yourself but do not give up your dream. I wish you all the luck and the best in the world.

  21. Jamie, you don’t have to perform in front of an audience to make it big in music. Carly Simon has had a very successful career, and she’s terrified of the stage. Please sing, and get yourself recorded. You’ve gotten the world’s attention, go into the studio with you and just a few people and sing for your loved ones. Then let us buy your music to play when we’re with our own families.

By the way, people, performing with others on stage and soloing are far, far different things. The first time I sang a solo, my LIPS shook. I didn’t know they could do that. And I had been singing with others for YEARS at that time. Give yourself credit, Jamie, that you sang “Bring Him Home,” absolutely beautifully.

  22. Dear Jamie,
I have wrote before. But I just want to let you know we all love you. as I read the e-mails from others that have wrote you. Most of them want you to make a C.D. I know there is someone out there that will help you.
Take care of your health….. Like I said Simon may be sorry before its over.. someone else will be laughing all the way to the Bank.$$$$$$$$$$
You can sing , please sing more songs like Bring Him Home….? And if you do make a C.D I hope we will all know about it, as it will Buy them…Don’t give up..
I couldn’t believe the group that won.. what are they going to do a five minute Act some where.. than what….
Now you and Susan could sing together , and you have some favorite singer ’s That you listen to , that may help you. I don’t think The Brittish Talent show knew how much flack they were going to get , because of Jamie being sent home.
But lets keep these e-mails going.
God Bless you Jamie and Family. Ellen

  23. you don’t need susan boyle… she might cuss you out… you are terrfic….and probably don’t need hypnotized… did not sense any nervousness…at all in the semi’s… you were great…. you think that the song in the semi really did suit you… everything doesn’t need to be the same…variety… your voice will sell millions…. wish i had the video of the semi w/o the buzz… they already all had their minds made up before the competition started… i could tell simon was not please w/ amanda…don’t think that anyone was…including the audience… they thought susan had it sewn up…wrong… and then piers says something in an interview …that the winners were a positive national statement for britain since it was having so many political problems… wrong again.the entire world is in a mess don’t know if a dance troupe is going to be able to solve that little problem….diversity was good…..as were a lot of the acts… YOU were outstanding… also, thought that susan did a nice job on the finals..she made several mistakes in the semi’s you did nothing wrong.. but, i could not get past the lady i saw in the auditions…where did she go? they did the same thing to paul potts…. he looks 20 yrs older… don’t let anyone change you like that… you are perfect the way you are and the way you sing….
and your humility is worthy of praise…. you can make a lot of money…and if, you want to give your family more, monetarily… you have the capabilty…and the talent… just get out there and do it……

  24. Clay, you must be his brother, or maybe you are him? Please don’t compare him to Susan. How many views on u-tube has he got? How many does Susan have? Enough said!

  25. mca…. he is just as good as susan..and a lot more humble…and modest…quality is important not quantity….he has a family he would like to support more comfortably… think that susan will do ok..in her new found fame….just want jamie to do the same….he deserves it… no…i am not 1/2 the man that jamie is….

  26. Hi folks jjust read an article on wales on line, Jamie says he is not gonna quit
Jun 4 2009 South Wales Echo
BRITAIN’S Got Talent singing sensation Jamie Pugh has told how it’s NOT all over for him – despite what the judges said.
The pizza delivery man from Glan y Nant, Pengam, had been tipped as a possible winner of the TV contest, which was won at the weekend by street dance troupe Diversity.
But after reaching the semi-final, Jamie’s nerves got the better of him and no-nonsense judge Simon Cowell advised him that singing might not be the career for him.
Now, getting back to reality at home, the defiant dad of two has said unplugging the microphone is not on his agenda.
“It’s not over for me,” said the ex-RAF engineer, revealing how the experience of singing for millions on a TV show that had gone global had given him a huge confidence boost.
“That was like a window and people are still talking about my first audition. I know people want to hear me sing and I’ve got plenty in the pipeline.”

  27. Doll,
Thanks for letting us know what you have read. In the States we don’t hear all the news from over there.
I’m sure someone somewhere will help Jamie with his carrer
I usally agree with Simon in American Idol. But I was very Disapointed by his remarks in the Final. when he said after the first Audition, I really like him and told him he would go places. I thought Susan didn’t do as well the second time either , but no one said a word about that..
And for Amanda let the man finish his song. and true he did sing with more volume and was not as afraid after the buzzer went off.
He is a gentleman…maybe they want there raitings to go up after insulting a man..
I read Piers said he has had more blogs about Jamie than anyone else.. good I hope they keep sending them.. Does that tell you something…
    all that glitters isn’t gold…
Jamie take care of your God given voice………..smoking will hurt you…
    God bless you Ellen

  28. thanks Doll and thanks Ellen

  29. opp sorry folks did not realise everything hadn’t copied , emailed whole article to titchpitch

Jun 4 2009 South Wales Echo
The priceless experience on the high-profile ITV show has given father-of-two Jamie nothing but hope for his future singing career.

“When I didn’t make it through to the final I was definitely gutted, but it’s a learning curve,” said Jamie, who has found love again with Donna Davies, 35, a support officer for a Ystrad Mynach special school.

The couple now have a son together – three-year-old Ethan.

“For me it’s the nerves that’s the problem,” Jamie added.

“It’s weird – rehearsals went really well but as soon as you’re out there in the spotlight and you think of all the people watching it’s completely different.”

The media frenzy following his first audition almost drove him to quit the show, but he feels he benefited from it in the end.

He said: “I didn’t need to read the papers, I knew what was being said about me and with the good things comes the bad.

“I just felt humbled and touched that people thought that highly of me.”

“At one point, apparently Amanda Holden had given me a slating in a Sunday newspaper, but she came up to me on the Monday and assured me it hadn’t come from her.”

  30. I’m thrilled that he’s not giving up. That’s great to hear. He’s won a piece of my heart. I was really worried about him. He sounds like he’s just gotten a little stronger. I sm so glad that he knows so many people are pulling for him.
    WTG Jamie!!

  31. REBECCA PRINCE M

We want to see you Jamie. Good luck don’t give up……… ;)

  32. I have bad performance nerves Jamie. In fact I cannot get them under control enough to sing in front of an audience. I can sing in a choir, or give a speech, but singing is not possible. I just get tense and my voice cracks.
To watch what you did was amazing to me. In your semi-final performance you seemed to lose it in the middle of the song, but then you got it back under control and finished strong. That really amazed me. I could never have pulled it together enough to get started and YOU went out, sang, lost it for a moment and then got it back. I am utterly astounded that someone who suffers performance nerves could do that. You’re a bit of a hero to me for that.
Jamie, reach for that emotion you showed, bring it out again, and find the strength to overcome your nerves. I will never sing solo, but I can watch or listen to you and be so very happy to see you do it.
    Never give up man.

  33. I certainly understand about nerves. Never have I been able to conquer them. You have so much talent. It is easily seen by the emotion you put into your singing. Please do what it takes to have a CD so that I can listen to you again and again!

  34. Jamie - I love your audition “Bring Him Home” from Les Miserables
I am an Union electrician and think of myself as tough as nails but you song wells me up with emotion and brings a tear to my eye.
Let’s just say I enjoy it immensely - I hope I do hear you again please don’t stop - few people in the world have a gift like you. Best of Luck
